nova28, why do you hide every comment that isn't pleasing to you? If you can't take comments and criticism, then you should disable it. This visual style aesthetically very unappealing, and functionally its not very practical either -- that's my honest to goodness opinion, can't wait till you hide my comment either

Thank you BeeTee for your honest to goodness opinion. The comment that I had received and hidden was "shit ass u go kill urself", and several similar comments from the same individual. I do not know this individual, and have never commented on their work, and this individual seems to be new to DA.
If someone tells me that they have a different aesthetic sense, that is fine, we all have different aesthetic tastes. If you tell me that my skin is functionally not very practical, I would appreciate details of how it is not functional or practical, based on your use of my skin, so that I might learn from your suggestions and improve any future skins that I might do.
The "shit ass u go kill urself" comment is not a valid constructive criticism of my skin. It is some emotionally disturbed individual dumping his/her personal problems on my page, so to disturb all those who come to my page.
I, and every other DA member, has the right to hide abusive and vulgar comments on their pages. I do not see any positive purpose for keeping such vulgar and abusive comments on my pages.
If you had received a "shit ass u go kill urself" comment on one of your pages, what would you do ?
I admit that after a few vulgar abusive comments, such as the "shit ass u go kill urself" comment, that I might have over-reacted and hidden a few less abusive comments. But even a comment, such as "ugly", is not constructive criticism, and doesn't tell me a anything particular that I might need to improve.
Differences in aesthetic taste is not a valid reason for someone to put abusive or non-constructive negative comments on someone else's page.
